Body Sensing - An Introductory Course with Yasmin Lambat; Cape Town - 22 May 2010 - R1500
The Next generation in movement education!
Inspired by other whole body programmes like Pilates, Yoga and Feldenkrais, Body Sensing is a fresh and simple approach to core training that dramatically improves body awareness and quickly gets your clients moving with ease, efficiency and enhanced movement quality.
Body Sensing workshops are ideal for anyone involved in physical therapy, body work or movement education. it’s developed to improve day to day posture, enhance physical fitness, assist in rehabilitation
In this introduction we will look at how Body Sensing improves the function of the CNS (Central Nervous System) by using refreshingly simple and innovative techniques that can easily be incorporated into any rehabilitation or training programme.
How we think is how we move. The CNS (central nervous system) influences our thoughts, behaviour, movement pattern, muscle sequencing and timing. Change the way your client thinks and you’ll change the way they move.
Learn to use effective communication techniques including clever language and visual and tactile cuing to get your clients moving with ease
