Health Care Practitioners are generally excellent at their profession but poor business people with little or no business training or experience. This leaves them vulnerable and to the mercy of who-ever is managing the business side of their practice and who-ever is giving them financial and business advice.
Knowing more about the business management of your practice will enable you to:
• Look out for the small rodents that can ruin your crop/practice.
• Make smart business decisions.
• Protect yourself, your employees and your practice.
• Enable you to sleep with greater ease of mind.
This course has been developed by Wilma Erasmus from years of practical experience in practice management, additional study, lessons learned the hard way, frustrations and successes.
Course Objectives:
• To provide health care practioners with knowledge on all the different aspects of practice management.
• To provide health care practioners with tools to enable them to management the business side of their practice as efficient as the clinical side.
• To empower health care practitioners to market their service in an ethical, cost effect and uncomplicated way, by branding their unique service.
• To stimulate “out of the box” business thinking.

• Financial Fitness: Your questions about how much to charge and how to create financial fitness will be answered.
• Self management: Learn how to prevent burn out and start to enjoy your profession, your family and your life.
• Risk management: If you hear thunder it is too late to build an ark.
• Intelligent marketing strategies: Learn the how’s, what’s and what not’s of service marketing.
• Management of your employees: What does the law stipulate, Are you a leader that knows how to manage your employees to optimize their performance and enhance your practice?
This course will provide you with the ideal opportunity of obtaining practice management knowledge and tools to enable you to run your business in an efficient and successful manner. You will also be in an ideal situation to start to network with like-minded business orientated health care practitioners.
