MULLIGAN MAGIC; AN EVENING LECTURE with Geoff Foat; Cape Town; 14 Feb 2010 - R200

In the application of manual therapy techniques, physiotherapists acknowledge that contraindications to treatment exist and should be respected at all times. Although always guided by the basic rule of never causing pain, therapists choosing to make use of SNAGS in the spine and MWMs in the extremities must still know and abide by the basic rules of application of this manual therapy technique.

This Mulligan Magic evening lecture will help you gain a better understanding of the Mulligan Concept by understanding the guidelines necessary to apply painless techniques to improve neuromuscular and joint function. It will also further your ability to integrate the Mulligan Concept into the overall evaluation and treatment process and also help to enhance your handling skills.

Get the latest and most up-to-date application ideas and useful techniques on the Mulligan Concept from Internationally Accredited Mulligan Concept Teacher, Geoff Foat.  Geoff is a proud South African returnee after spending 15 years in the USA.  He is the only accredited instructor of the concept in Southern Africa and is also the regional manager of the Mulligan Concept for the African continent.

The Mulligan Magic evening lecture is a great way to introduce oneself to the Mulligan Concept of Nags, Snags and MWM’s ahead of doing one of the Mulligan courses on the Upper and Lower Quadrants.

A good awareness of the medico-legal and ethical aspects relating to physiotherapy is essential to all professionals. Medical Negligence litigation is showing a steady increase in South Africa and personal injury lawyers are looking at this branch of law with more interest.
